Christiano Ronaldo part ways with Mancheser United

Chrstiano Ronaldo is set to leave Manchester United with immediate effect. Both the forward and the Club have confirmed the development via statements.
The decision comes after Ronaldo’s explosive tell all interview with Pierce Morgan last week where the 37 year old criticized the club while also stating that he has no respect for manager Erik Ten Hag.


The club did not mention the damaging interview in their statement rather thanking Ronaldo for his immense contribution across two stints at the old Trafford.


“everyone at Manchester United remains focused on continuing the team’s progress under Erik ten Hag and working together to deliver success on the pitch”.


Ronaldo is currently in Qatar for the World Cup with Portugal which is set to play Ghana in their group H opener on Thursday.
Ronaldo boosts of a good record with united have scored 145 goals in 346 appearances. Ronaldo left United for Real Madrid 11 years ago, then joined Juventus before making a comeback to the Old Trafford in August 2021.


Ronaldo will forego £16million and will not receive any compensation for the remaining seven months of his £500,000-a-week contract at Old Trafford.
“I love Manchester United and I love the fans, that will never ever change. However, it feels like the right time for me to seek a new challenge.
“I wish the team every success for the remainder of the season and for the future.”
