The Dutch captain, whose existing deal was set to expire in 2025, has extended his stay at Anfield, much to the delight of fans and teammates alike.
Since his club-record £75 million arrival from Southampton in 2018, Van Dijk has transformed Liverpool’s backline, propelling the club to a golden era of success.
