The tie pitting Fountain gate and Singida black stars in the Tanzania NBC premier league is more than a league game for Coach David Ouma.
For one it presents an opportunity to play against another super coach from Kenya, Robert Matano who will be on the touch line for Fountain Gate.
But most importantly, Coach David Ouma will be trying to replicate his success at Coastal union with the Singida boys.
In the 2023-2024 season, Ouma carried Coastal Union from position 15 to 4th on the table standings hence qualifying for the continental extravaganza.
Costal union went on to play in the CAF Confederations cup and was eliminated in the preliminary stage following a 3-0 loss to Fc Bravos of Angola.
Already at position four in the current season, Singida Black Stars are looking forward to cement their slot in the CAF competition slots.

The Former Harambee starlets head coach David Ouma has been making headways in the neighboring country, brushing shoulders with the best teams in Tanzania.
Singida is 4th on the table standing after 23 rounds, a position if maintained, will see them qualify for the CAF confederations cup.
‘’ Our objective is to get one of the four available slots for CAF Competition. We are coming from an international break, we have a full squad and are ready for the job.’’ Says a confident coach Ouma
Siginda Joins league leaders Yanga Fc, Simba fc and third placed Azam fc in quest for continental glory next season.
The 24th round of the league matches will see Singida play away to Fountain Gates who are 7th on the log and managed by coach well familiar to Coach Ouma- former Tusker fc head coach Robert Matano
‘’ Matano is a great coach who likes to play direct football. I know his side will give us good competition and that’s why we must make sure that we control our opponent throughout the game.’’
This is the second season in Tanzania for Coach David Ouma who in the 2023-2025 season was in charge of the Coastal union.
